Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- ability to read and write for communication
- able to work day, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts
- reliable with good attendance
- ability to work independently and cooperatively
- physical stamina to lift and move 50 pounds frequently
- capable of standing, walking, and other physical tasks required by the role
- knowledge of and compliance with State Liquor Laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- current Food Handler’s Permit
- current Alcohol Certification
- at least 1 year of serving experience
- clear communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledgeable about liquor laws and compliance
- strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- attentive listening skills
Job Duties
- Coordinate efforts of restaurant and kitchen personnel to provide exceptional dining experience
- prepare dining tables according to specified setup
- engage with guests to make them feel welcome and attended to
- follow company sequence of service to maintain natural flow
- demonstrate product knowledge and use salesmanship in answering questions and making recommendations
- process guest orders accurately using Aloha POS system
- observe diners to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests
- adhere to State Liquor Laws and company RASP plan
- assist busser with stocking, removing, and resetting dishes and silverware
- accurately total bills and accept payments
- perform side work including napkin and utensil roll-ups, menu wipe down, replenishing condiments, garnish preparation, and cleaning
- adhere to company policies and procedures
- perform other related duties as assigned
