Job Requirements

  • State or local law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class
  • State-certified proper food handling certification
  • General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations
  • Ability to operate a Micros terminal, phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser
  • Willingness to assist other team members to maintain a smooth dining environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide friendly, responsive, and courteous guest service

Job Qualifications

  • General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred
  • Ability to operate a Micros terminal, phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser
  • Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required
  • State or local law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class
  • State-certified proper food handling certification

Job Duties

  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times
  • Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar
  • Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner
  • Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations arise
