Job Requirements
- State or local law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class
- State-certified proper food handling certification
- General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations
- Ability to operate a Micros terminal, phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser
- Willingness to assist other team members to maintain a smooth dining environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide friendly, responsive, and courteous guest service
Job Qualifications
- General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred
- Ability to operate a Micros terminal, phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser
- Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required
- State or local law may require a certificate upon completion of an alcohol awareness/safety class
- State-certified proper food handling certification
Job Duties
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times
- Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar
- Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations arise
