Job Qualifications

  • Passed an approved food handler's or ServSafe course as required by county, state, and community policy
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in standard English
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to relate courteously and empathetically to residents and coworkers
  • Detail oriented and team-oriented
  • Commitment to maintaining professional hygiene and appearance
  • Willingness to attend required in-services and workshops for skill development

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and families
  • Take orders and deliver resident food orders
  • Pour beverages for residents
  • Follow kitchen and dining room cleaning schedule
  • Prepare tables with special attention to detail
  • Relate to residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
  • Keep environment safe and clean
  • Assist with special events as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
