Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations
- Prior experience in dining room service or similar role preferred
- Ability to work morning or evening shifts as scheduled
- Must be compassionate and patient when working with senior residents
- Must be able to follow both oral and written instructions accurately
- Must pass health screenings and background checks
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
- Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations
- Have compassion for and desire to work with seniors
- Perform job duties in a courteous and professional manner
- Work as part of the dietary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Be honest, fair, dependable, and respect confidentiality and privacy
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public
- Meet all health requirements and pass background checks
Job Duties
- Deliver meals to residents and guests in a timely manner
- Provide first-class customer service during meal times
- Follow oral and written directions related to meal service
- Work as part of the dietary team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and vendors
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with residents and team members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during service
