Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of experience as a server preferably in hospitality, fine dining, and/or farm-to-table environment
- Valid New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit required before hire
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Strong manual dexterity and auditory and visual skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work proactively to ensure a great guest experience
- Ability to work in a varying pace environment

- Physical requirements including ability to stand for extended periods, sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and push/pull/lift items weighing 40 pounds or more
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, auditory focus, and visual attention
- Minimum three years of experience as a server, preferably in hospitality, fine dining, and/or a farm-to-table environment

Job Duties
- Helps guests select food and beverages by presenting menu, suggesting courses, explaining chef's specialties, identifying appropriate wines, anticipating and answering food preparation questions and paying special attention to guests' dietary requirements
- Ensures that the correct order is delivered to the guest in a timely manner, paying particular attention to orders with special dietary requirements
- Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests' choices, identifying guests' special dietary needs and any special requests
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression
- Serves orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices from the kitchen, delivering accompaniments and condiments from service areas in a quick, efficient and professional manner
- Proactively responds to additional guest requirements by closely monitoring the dining process and inquiring as to guests' needs
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to guest spills or other issues
- Collects revenues by totaling charges, issuing bill, accepting payment, delivering bill and payment and returning change or credit card and signature slip to guests as per established revenue handling policies
- Prepares dining room, space and tables by setting tables, decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, utensils, etc.
- Cleans dining room, spaces and tables, e.g. vacuums, wipes, washes, dusts, etc.
- Adheres to sanitation and safety policies
- Adheres to alcoholic beverage control policies and regulations and maintains a valid New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit
