Job Duties
- Provides an enjoyable dining experience for residents while maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment
- Reports upon first notice any environmental situation that could pose a threat to the safety or well-being of residents
- Completes meal service duties in a courteous and timely manner as assigned by supervisor in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures
- Sets dining room including table layout, place setting, and centerpiece while demonstrating knowledge of table assignments, table numbers, and locations
- Uses chemicals, cleaning agents, and equipment safely and effectively in accordance with food safety regulations
- Applies best practices related to the safe and sanitary handling, preparation, storage, and service of foods
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and personal uniform
