Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year experience as a server or in customer service
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • strong communication skills
  • physical stamina to stand and walk for long durations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and show them to their tables
  • take guest drink and appetizer orders and upselling any current specials
  • deliver guests orders to their tables in a timely manner
  • pre-bus tables for plates, glasses, and silverware from guest tables when appropriate
  • present correct check to guests before dining is complete
  • refill drinks and upsell dessert during guests dining
  • clear and reset tables as guests leave in preparation for new guests
  • perform light housekeeping duties, such as sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting restaurant and bar areas as needed
  • clean, stock, and prep the restaurant and bar at the end of the night
  • additional duties as needed and instructed by restaurant manager, bar manager, kitchen manager or GM
