Job Requirements

  • Must pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Must be able to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking and communicating
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and/or carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, and reach
  • Must be able to see and hear
  • Must be able to speak and read English
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and possibly 24/7 availability
  • Must display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times

Job Qualifications

  • One year experience in food and beverage position preferred
  • Experience with chain food and retail outlet preferred
  • Knowledge of age requirements and ability to verify those who order alcoholic beverages
  • Knowledge of menu items, preparation methods and beverage choices
  • Understanding of brand standards of operation
  • Familiarity with area shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions to assist guest inquiries
  • Computer literacy to operate property management system
  • Ability to sell, suggest and serve quality food and beverage items per standards
  • Service minded with friendly, professional behavior
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates
  • Ability to multitask and remain guest service centric
  • Display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times

Job Duties

  • Prepare and consistently maintain dining area and supplies in a guest ready atmosphere
  • Process guest charges and gratuities in accordance to standards, policies and procedures
  • Maintain safety and security practices, have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
  • Ensure guests are provided with the highest quality product and service
  • Complete daily side work including stocking
  • May be responsible for ordering, cost control and maintaining the quality of items served or alerting management to issues
  • Maintain certification from a brand approved responsible vendor training program
  • Perform other duties as assigned that the associate is capable of performing
