Job Requirements

  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Always provide friendly service with a smile to guests
  • Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekend based on the demands of the hotel
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time, unless otherwise directed by your immediate manager
  • Never work while clocked out
  • Must clock in/out for breaks at the designated time on your schedule
  • Must provide sufficient notice as directed by your supervisor when calling out for a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, service, or consumer-facing roles preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions, tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong guest service skills with friendliness and professionalism
  • Flexible schedule availability including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Reliable punctuality and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests’ names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support and be aware of all hotel groups and events
  • Utilize relevant technology and demonstrate phone etiquette with approved greetings
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests happily even while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time
  • Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear clean, approved uniform with nametag and maintain professional grooming
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and stretch beyond traditional role requirements
  • Collaborate with all team members to create a welcoming environment and effective workplace
  • Greet guests and provide clear descriptions of food and beverage options
  • Deliver hot food items promptly to tables
  • Input orders into computer system and secure payment accurately
  • Prepare coffee and specialized drinks as a barista
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables for dining as needed
  • Observe diners and respond promptly to their requests
  • Complete daily inventory prep sheet and other allowable side work
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current menu offerings
  • Escort guests to tables when needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of restaurant and surrounding areas
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and amenities
