Job Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Always provide friendly service with a smile to guests
  • Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at scheduled shift ending time unless otherwise directed
  • Never work while clocked out
  • Must clock in/out for breaks at the designated times
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to walk long distances between work sites
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers
  • Ability to lift and carry laundry supplies, linens, and other items
  • Read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use the guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel properly welcomed
  • Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
  • Have strong knowledge of all features of the hotel facility and amenities
  • Support and be aware of all groups and events at the hotel
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
  • Keep all workspaces front and back of the house clean and well-organized
  • Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet every guest happily with a smile while cleaning
  • Complete operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • Submit accurate shift handover reports for effective communication
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed per team standards
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Show a willing can-do attitude to meet business and guest needs
  • Collaborate effectively with team members at all levels
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and accurate food and beverage service
  • Take food and beverage orders and serve food items to guests
  • Complete payment for guest orders using POS
  • Prepare coffee and specialized drinks as a barista
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
  • Observe diners and respond to requests
  • Complete daily inventory prep sheet and other allowable side work
  • Maintain knowledge and familiarity of current food and beverage offerings
  • Escort guests to tables as needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies
  • Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and available amenities
