  • must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time unless otherwise directed
  • must clock in/out for breaks at the designated time
  • must provide sufficient notice when calling out
  • experience in hospitality, service or consumer-facing roles preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • able to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers
  • capable of lifting certain supplies and linens
  • read, write and communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • use the guests' names whenever possible to enhance their experience
  • handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • demonstrate strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • support hotel events and groups actively
  • maintain sparkling clean workspaces both front and back of house
  • pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain a well-groomed appearance
  • communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • display a can-do attitude by stretching beyond traditional roles
  • collaborate to create a welcoming and effective workplace
  • greet guests and provide clear descriptions of menu options
  • deliver food quickly and accurately to tables
  • input orders and process payments accurately via POS
  • prepare coffee and other specialty beverages
  • clear and reset tables as necessary
  • observe and promptly respond to guest needs
  • complete daily inventory prep sheets and assigned side work
  • maintain knowledge of current food and beverage offerings
  • escort guests to tables as needed
  • ensure compliance with food safety protocols including product rotation and cleaning
  • assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas
  • demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and amenities
  • adhere to scheduled shift timings and breaks
