Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related field is an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to handle physical aspects of the job including lifting and repetitive motions
Basic knowledge of POS systems and technology
Commitment to providing excellent guest service
Must adhere to company policies and safety standards
Availability to work on a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
Always provide friendly service with a smile
Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends
Punctuality in arriving and clocking in on time for every shift
Ability to clock in/out for breaks at designated times
Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
Communicate effectively in English
Ability to perform physical demands such as standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting

Job Duties

Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
Use guests' names to ensure they feel welcomed
Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
Support hotel events and groups
Answer incoming calls with friendly service using approved greeting
Keep workspaces sparkling clean and well-organized
Pitch in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
Greet guests with a smile during cleaning
Complete operational checklists accurately during every shift
Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
Wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to stretch beyond traditional roles
Collaborate to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
Provide clear and correct descriptions of food and beverage options
Deliver hot to order items promptly
Input orders into POS system and secure accurate payment
Prepare coffee and specialized drinks
Clear, clean, and reset tables
Observe diners and respond to their requests
Complete daily inventory prep and other allowed side work
Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings
Escort guests to tables as needed
Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies
Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas
Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and available amenities
