Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food and beverage service preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- must be at least 21 years old to comply with legal alcohol service requirements
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work standing for extended periods
- reliable transportation to work location
- ability to follow health and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service or bar setting preferred
- strong knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, and wines
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
Job Duties
- Warmly greets and acknowledges guests and takes drink and food orders
- provides information about menu items and looks for opportunities for additional sales
- creates lasting first and last impressions
- engages with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- checks identification of guests to verify legal drinking age
- prepares and serves a wide variety of craft cocktails, beer, wines, and food with thorough menu knowledge
- uses proper mixing techniques and garnishes
- accurately processes transactions through the point-of-sale system
- responds appropriately to customer concerns
- follows alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and deals with intoxicated guests
- ensures a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar
- stocks and cleans glassware using glass washer and sanitizer
- performs opening and closing side work as directed
