Job Requirements
- Passion for the people, place and culture of our community
- Minimum of one year experience as a restaurant server in a free-standing or hotel restaurant
- TIPS alcohol service certification
- Ability to meet local age requirements in order to serve alcohol
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English verbal and written
- Ability to continuously stand or walk for majority of shift, including negotiating wet tile floors and steps
- Fine motor coordination for pouring beverages, decorating cocktails and folding napkins
- Ability to roll or carry tables and chairs as needed
- Ability to lift and carry a 30 lb tray, crate or box
- Ability to occasionally carry over shoulder
- Utilize hand and elbow movements for polishing glassware, silver, setting up tables, shaking, pouring and mixing drinks
- Excellent sight and balance for negotiating varied floor surfaces
- Ability to handle lighted candles and hot fluids such as coffee and tea

Job Duties
- Uphold and model the company's principles of people, place and character, driving collaboration, intuition and translocal hospitality
- Assist in all aspects of a guest's experience from beginning to end by extending a friendly greeting in an inviting environment, ensuring proper steps of service to create exceptional guest experiences
- Participate in daily lineups and staff meetings to further develop ideas and objectives with the service team while providing constructive feedback and strategizing to overcome missed opportunities
- Be accountable for working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and what is unavailable for the day

- accurately account for all monetary transactions during your shift
- Serve food and beverage items based upon each guest's specific requests by respecting health and safety procedures
- Ensure your workstation is clean and organized, with respect for guests, peers, and equipment

- Demonstrate an understanding of basic culinary and beverage terms and strive to expand knowledge
- Observe conditions of physical facilities and report challenges to leadership
- communicate with food and beverage and culinary teams to ensure timely food service
- Assist in other areas of the food and beverage department as needed
