Job Requirements

  • Exposure to restaurant operations or ability to learn
  • age over 18 years or proper work permit and authorization
  • background clearances as required by government regulations
  • complete health screening and provide negative TB test within last 6 months or 7 days of employment
  • basic counting skills
  • good communication skills in English
  • ability to operate serving equipment
  • mindful use of resources minimizing waste
  • tactful and professional behavior
  • complete dining room training course with CCG
  • comply with state regulatory requirements

Job Qualifications

  • ability to operate standard serving equipment
  • ability to deal tactfully and professionally with residents, family, and visitors
  • complete dining room training course with CCG
  • meet and maintain all state specific regulatory requirements

Job Duties

  • Take written food orders and serve meals to residents, assist residents with meal/menu selections as necessary, use proper etiquette and manners while waiting tables, review residents dietary needs as outlined by supervisor, track resident attendance at meals and provide information timely, ensure residents are greeted and seated properly, ensure a clean sanitary dining area and comply with food handling policies, display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents and team members, aid in community marketing effort through positive interactions and behavior, serve clean reset tables and return dishes to kitchen, other duties as assigned by supervisors, clean and set up dining and food service areas including stocking condiments, cooperate and assist with other kitchen and dining services, report any safety or equipment issues to supervisor
