  • ability to stand and walk throughout shift
  • ability to lift and carry trays up to 50 pounds
  • ability to balance serving trays
  • manual dexterity for food preparation tasks
  • exposed to kitchen heat, steam, and cold
  • must not be eligible for telework, flex schedule or additional holidays

  • ability to function in support delivery, primary server, secondary server, server help, to-go, prep/delivery, and tempura stations

Job Duties

  • Greets and seats customers
  • answers questions about the menu and makes recommendations including upselling
  • accurately takes orders and communicates them to the kitchen staff
  • understands and communicates any food allergies or special instructions to the kitchen staff
  • follows OLCC guidelines for alcohol orders and service
  • answers the phone and takes orders
  • ensures that all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that the food is high quality
  • provides attentive service to customers such as refilling drinks and checking on guests needs
  • promptly addresses any customer service issues and refers them to the appropriate person
  • performs cleaning and sanitation duties including server station and tables
  • takes and processes customer payments using a POS system
  • operates all functions of the POS system including discounts and rewards
  • completes side prep work such as cutting cucumbers and refilling condiments
  • packs up to go orders and rings out customers
  • works in the Tempura station as needed
