Job Requirements

- must be able to work various stations including tempura and prep/delivery
- ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- ability to lift and carry trays up to 50 pounds
- ability to balance serving trays
- manual dexterity for food preparation tasks
- exposed to kitchen heat, steam, and cold
- must not be eligible for telework, flex schedule or additional holidays

- ability to function in support delivery, primary server, secondary server, server help, to-go, prep/delivery, and tempura stations
Job Duties
- Greets and seats customers
- answers questions about the menu and makes recommendations including upselling
- accurately takes orders and communicates them to the kitchen staff
- understands and communicates any food allergies or special instructions to the kitchen staff
- follows OLCC guidelines for alcohol orders and service
- answers the phone and takes orders
- ensures that all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that the food is high quality
- provides attentive service to customers such as refilling drinks and checking on guests needs
- promptly addresses any customer service issues and refers them to the appropriate person
- performs cleaning and sanitation duties including server station and tables
- takes and processes customer payments using a POS system
- operates all functions of the POS system including discounts and rewards
- completes side prep work such as cutting cucumbers and refilling condiments
- packs up to go orders and rings out customers
- works in the Tempura station as needed
