Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous serving experience in a hotel, fine dining, or high-volume restaurant preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays weighing up to moderate weight
  • adherence to sanitation and safety standards
  • strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • positive and professional attitude

Job Duties

  • Greet and engage guests with a professional, friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel welcome and cared for
  • provide detailed knowledge of the menu, including wine, cocktails, and daily specials, to make thoughtful recommendations
  • accurately take food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and ensure timely delivery
  • anticipate guest needs, monitor tables throughout service, and respond promptly to requests
  • work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth coordination and service flow
  • handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating to a manager if needed
  • prepare and maintain a clean, organized service area, following all sanitation and safety procedures
  • process guest payments accurately and efficiently
  • contribute to team success by assisting colleagues during peak service times
  • uphold Hyatt brand standards, delivering care and hospitality in every interaction
