Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Food safety and alcohol service certifications preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must relocate to Larchmont, NY prior to start

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in fine dining, upscale casual dining, or private club service
  • Strong understanding of wines, spirits, cocktails, and food pairings
  • Ability to multi-task, work with urgency, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Polished appearance, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset
  • Must be able to work weekends including Friday through Sunday with both day and evening shifts

Job Duties

  • Provide attentive food and beverage service during member dining, private parties, and special events
  • Welcome members and guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
  • Learn and anticipate member preferences to deliver a personalized experience
  • Guide guests through menus, daily specials, wine list, and beverage offerings with confidence
  • Partner with the kitchen to ensure accuracy for special requests, dietary needs, and allergy concerns
  • Maintain high service standards, including proper timing of courses and attention to table details
  • Set up, maintain, and close down service stations
  • complete side work and daily checklists
  • Handle billing accurately and follow all club policies regarding food and alcohol service
  • Create a welcoming environment that encourages members and guests to return
