Job Requirements

  • minimum of one year in restaurant service and one year specifically as a server
  • adequate literacy to fulfill job requirements
  • familiarity with the food service industry
  • patience, friendliness, and demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • ability to lift, carry, and serve trays weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
  • proficiency in using tray stands and manual dexterity while distributing orders
  • capacity to stand and walk throughout the workday
  • ability to bend, stoop, and reach while carrying trays weighing up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of one year in restaurant service and one year specifically as a server

  • patience, friendliness, and demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • exceptional interpersonal, customer service, and planning skills
  • previous food server experience in fine dining or resort environments preferred
  • willingness to earn Heimlich maneuver certification within three months of employment

Job Duties

  • welcome and seat residents, guests, and staff for meals and dietary programs
  • complete table settings for scheduled dining room services, assisted living events, meetings, and special functions as required
  • maintain cleanliness standards across all dining and event spaces, including tables, chairs, flooring, kitchen service areas, and lighting fixtures
  • present menu items clearly and courteously to all diners
  • accurately collect and deliver orders for beverages and meals to residents, guests, and staff
  • verify the quality of servings and promptly address any issues
  • remove dishes efficiently at the conclusion of each course or meal
  • assemble and distribute meals to assisted living, resident apartments, and fulfill take-out requests as necessary
  • manage and complete meal tickets accurately for each resident and submit them to the cook
  • assist colleagues with duties such as dishwashing and detail cleaning
  • perform other related duties as assigned
