Job Requirements
- Must be caring, compassionate and enjoys working with senior adults
- Must be a team player
- Maintains neat, professional appearance
- Available to work part-time hours from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM or 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM
- Some weekend availability required
- Willingness to commit to year-round employment
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitary procedures
Job Qualifications
- Caring and compassionate attitude towards seniors
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication and active listening skills
- Previous experience in dining services or working with seniors is a plus
- Ability to maintain professional appearance
- Reliable and punctual
Job Duties
- Responsible for serving residents in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner
- Become familiar with the culinary likes and dislikes of residents using active listening skills
- Handle food and utensils in a safe and sanitary manner
- Work as part of a team to deliver excellent dining experiences
- Maintain neat and professional appearance during shifts
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
