Job Requirements
- Ability to take 3 to 4 shifts per week including varied afternoon and Sunday morning shifts
- must be able to read, write, and communicate in English at a functional level
- must have basic math skills
- possession of current Washington State Food Handler's Permit
- adherence to CRISTA dress code
- must follow CRISTA Ministries’ policies, procedures and doctrines
- ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
- demonstrate problem-solving skills
- committed Christian who supports and aligns with CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement
Job Qualifications
- Must be a committed Christian with belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- dedicated to personal spiritual growth and development
- ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- possession of a Washington State Food Handler's Permit
- capable of following directions and working well in a team environment
- ability to demonstrate CRISTA’s core values of Christ-centeredness, servanthood, integrity, stewardship, unity, and excellence
Job Duties
- Setting up dining room for meals
- clearing and cleaning dining areas after meals
- prepping meal service areas and garnishes
- taking food and beverage orders from residents
- delivering food and beverages to residents' tables
- assisting with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup as directed
- supporting team members to ensure efficient dining service
