Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
  • Must be Food Safety Certified within 90 days
  • Maintain CPR, First Aid, and ServeSafe certifications
  • Compliance with all training required by Sunrise and state regulations
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Organizational and time management capabilities
  • Pass drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check
  • Covid-19 and influenza vaccination if mandated

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or senior living preferred
  • Food Safety Certification within 90 days of employment
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • ServeSafe certification
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent organizational and time management skills
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe environment for residents and team members
  • Provide dining service training to new care managers
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items and assist residents with selections
  • Take meal and beverage orders and serve items according to guidelines
  • Perform dining room checklist inspections and maintain cleanliness and readiness
  • Perform dining room set-up and re-set tables according to procedures
  • Review daily logs and resident diet information to ensure proper service
