Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
- Must be Food Safety Certified within 90 days
- Maintain CPR, First Aid, and ServeSafe certifications
- Compliance with all training required by Sunrise and state regulations
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills
- Organizational and time management capabilities
- Pass drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check
- Covid-19 and influenza vaccination if mandated
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or senior living preferred
- Food Safety Certification within 90 days of employment
- CPR and First Aid certification
- ServeSafe certification
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competent organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe environment for residents and team members
- Provide dining service training to new care managers
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and assist residents with selections
- Take meal and beverage orders and serve items according to guidelines
- Perform dining room checklist inspections and maintain cleanliness and readiness
- Perform dining room set-up and re-set tables according to procedures
- Review daily logs and resident diet information to ensure proper service
