Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a food service role preferred
- ability to work part-time hours
- must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- must be able to commute to richmond, va
- relocate before starting work if not local
Job Qualifications
- excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- strong knowledge of basic math for accurate order taking and billing
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- familiarity with restaurant operations and kitchen procedures
- proficiency in using aloha pos or similar point-of-sale systems
- ability to upsell menu items to increase sales
Job Duties
- take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
- provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- upsell additional food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience
- ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly
- assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service
- process payments accurately using aloha pos system
- adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
