- High school diploma or GED
- one year food service experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- capability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- willingness to work with elderly residents
- ability to follow directions and complete tasks

Job Duties
- Assist cook and supervisor with food preparation and service using specific procedures
- deliver residents' meal carts
- set and clean assigned dining areas
- accurately record temperatures on refrigerators
- clean and stock kitchen as needed
- wash and store dishes following sanitation standards
- comply with federal, state, and community food safety policies
