- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately
- Excellent people skills with a patient, compassionate and friendly attitude
- Knowledge of OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures
- Knowledge of state food handling and kitchen regulations
- Knowledge of fire, safety, and infection control procedures

Job Duties
- Greet residents and visitors as they are seated at the table
- Distribute menus and present the daily specials in a warm, enthusiastic, and friendly manner
- Answer questions about the menu
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe dining room and service area
- Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction
- Prepare dining room and service areas before each meal
- Collect plates and clear the table as residents finish their meals
