Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of relevant experience in hospitality or senior living preferred
  • Ability to work flexible part-time hours including evenings and weekends
  • Effective English communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to the role
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year relevant experience in hospitality, full-service, or senior living preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
  • Clean and maintain food service areas including kitchen and dining room
  • Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Assist in providing a welcoming and respectful dining environment
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene standards in food preparation and service
