Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of food service experience

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests from diverse backgrounds, providing a first-class experience and dedicated service they will carry with them long after they've left our premises
  • Ideal candidates are dependable, customer service-centric, and work well in a team
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, process orders and serve food and beverage items to customers, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Provide prompt and efficient customer service
  • Display knowledge of the food and beverage menu
  • Take guests' food and/or drink orders and turn them into kitchen, bar, etc
  • Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
  • Check back to ensure guest satisfaction
  • replenish items as necessary and/or requested
  • Suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and other items as applicable and/or necessary
  • Handle all cash and/or credit cards for payment following all standard operating procedures
  • Keep tables, dining room, and workstation(s) sanitized and organized
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints
  • Perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by manager
  • Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager
  • Perform physical activities including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping
  • Regularly reach with arms and hands
  • Occasionally lift up to 30lbs
  • Use sight, reading, and wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
  • Work extended hours during the holiday season
  • Work weekends and holidays
