Job Duties
- Engage with guests from diverse backgrounds, providing a first-class experience and dedicated service they will carry with them long after they've left our premises
- Ideal candidates are dependable, customer service-centric, and work well in a team
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, process orders and serve food and beverage items to customers, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Provide prompt and efficient customer service
- Display knowledge of the food and beverage menu
- Take guests' food and/or drink orders and turn them into kitchen, bar, etc
- Serve beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely manner
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
- Check back to ensure guest satisfaction
- replenish items as necessary and/or requested
- Suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and other items as applicable and/or necessary
- Handle all cash and/or credit cards for payment following all standard operating procedures
- Keep tables, dining room, and workstation(s) sanitized and organized
- Listen and respond to customer complaints
- Perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by manager
- Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager
- Perform physical activities including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping
- Regularly reach with arms and hands
- Occasionally lift up to 30lbs
- Use sight, reading, and wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
- Work extended hours during the holiday season
- Work weekends and holidays
