Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • One year of serving experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write and understand English language
  • Manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work no sitting for extended periods
  • Ability to lift or carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Sufficient manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment and utensils

  • Ability to lift or carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Enhance the overall dining experience for residents, family members and guests
  • Assist in the delivery of culinary activities across all dining venues including Bistro, Casual, Formal, Luminations memory care and Club Room
  • Participate in special events and private functions
  • Provide service in The Sterling Touch professional, friendly, courteous, helpful and timely manner
  • Adhere to community standards, processes, procedures, practices, and philosophies
  • Communicate effectively with Executive Chef, Dining Room Supervisor, residents, and guests
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
