Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in food service or customer service preferred
- must be at least 16 years old
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- a big smile and eagerness to learn
- compassion for residents
- if under 18 provide proper schoolwork authorization
- must hold or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Card
- strong customer service presentation
Job Duties
- direct residents to their tables
- present menus
- suggest dishes and assist in drink selection
- communicate specific resident orders using point of sale system
- complete all dining room opening duties
- complete all dining room closing duties
