Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior serving experience advantageous but not mandatory
- ability to stand for extended periods
- excellent communication skills
- ability to use a point-of-sale system
- must adhere to state and local food safety regulations
- flexible availability for part-time schedule
Job Qualifications
- a big smile and eagerness to learn
- compassion for residents
- proper schoolwork authorization if under age 18
- valid Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain one
- strong customer service presentation
Job Duties
- direct residents to their tables
- present menus
- suggest dishes and assist in drink selection
- communicate specific resident orders using point-of-sale system
- complete dining room opening and closing duties as established
- build relationships with residents
- consistently deliver high-quality guest service
