Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in a busy restaurant
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of previous experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and engage with them professionally throughout their meal
  • Have thorough knowledge of the menu including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials to make recommendations
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system and communicate special requests to kitchen staff
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards
  • Promote featured dishes, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Monitor tables by clearing dishes, refilling beverages, and resetting tables for a clean environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and team members to coordinate service and ensure smooth operations
  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues courteously
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards
