Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a server in a busy restaurant
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of previous experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and engage with them professionally throughout their meal
- Have thorough knowledge of the menu including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials to make recommendations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system and communicate special requests to kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards
- Promote featured dishes, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Monitor tables by clearing dishes, refilling beverages, and resetting tables for a clean environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and team members to coordinate service and ensure smooth operations
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues courteously
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards
