Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to perform essential job functions including visual acuity and communication
- Ability to work specified hours including evening PRN shifts
- Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling
- Ability to follow instructions and department procedures
- Ability to use chemicals appropriately
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to organizational mission and values
- Compliance with safety and confidentiality standards
Job Qualifications

- Ability to work evening shifts and be available PRN
- Basic understanding of measuring utensils and food production sheets

- Maintain confidentiality and comply with safety regulations
Job Duties
- Cleans and stores dishes according to set departmental standards
- Complete cleaning processes efficiently and timely
- Utilize chemicals appropriately for sanitation
- Maintain work area by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing counters, and taking out garbage
- Correctly serve foods and assemble trays adhering to dietary restrictions
- Follow dish room and pot and pan procedures including use of chemicals and drying time
- Assist in light meal preparation such as preparing sandwiches and opening cans
- Follow safe food handling procedures and HACCP guidelines
- Abide by the schedule and select menus for residents
- Demonstrate proper hand washing techniques and food preparation competencies
