Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in food service or related field preferred
- Ability to acquire and maintain Food Handlers Card
- Ability to acquire and maintain Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including peak periods
- Strong communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment preferred
- Must have a High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related Food Service Job Experience
- Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, management, and guests
Job Duties
- Maintains knowledge of the menu and special items
- Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to banquet guests
- Ensures food items are served at proper temperature and promptly
- Ensures neat presentation of ordered items with no spill-over
- Pre-buses and full-buses tables during peak periods
- Maintains availability during many peak periods
- Stocks beverage stations as necessary
- Maintains high responsiveness to customer desires and requests
- Maintains a professional and clean appearance
- Communicates effectively with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff
- Builds and maintains knowledge of bar offerings
