Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to read and comprehend banquet event orders when setting up events
  • responsible for setting up banquet functions including linens, dishware, glassware and silverware
  • serve meals to guests or replenish food to the buffet line
  • serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages and check guest's ID to verify minimum age
  • carry meals on a tray
  • set up and maintain food and beverage stations consistent with standards
  • observe guests to respond to additional requests and determine when the meal is complete
  • clear dishes, glassware, and silverware guests are done with
  • refill salt, pepper, sugar, creamer, condiments, and napkins
  • replace tableware and linens as necessary
  • participate in both setup and cleanup of events
  • work individually and with a team
  • maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • demonstrate excellent, punctual attendance
  • perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management
