Job Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Requires prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 30 lbs
- Needs to have a minimum of one-year experience in a similar position
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as a Server in a high-quality full service or fast casual environment
- Provide legible communication and directions
- Compute basic arithmetic
- Perform job duties with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Prioritize, organize and follow up
- Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment
- Follow directions thoroughly
- Understand guest's service needs
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Work with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data
Job Duties
- Consistently assess, anticipate and meet guests' needs and respond quickly without detracting from guests' dining experience
- Communicate professionally with guests, coworkers and management
- Adapt to different personalities of guests and coworkers while maintaining focus
- Comprehensively understand menu food and beverage items and communicate effectively to guests
- Recognize and resolve problems appropriately using good judgment, tact and initiative
- Perform general accounting and use mechanical devices such as cash registers, Micros System and hot beverage makers
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace according to management guidelines
- Follow uniform guidelines
- Understand and execute management instructions, read company memorandums and communicate when more direction is needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
