Job Requirements
- At least two years of serving experience
- flexible availability including lunches, weekends, and weekdays
- ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
- reliable transportation
- ability to stand for long periods
- capable of moderate physical activity including bending, kneeling, lifting up to 30 lbs, and maneuvering between tables
- commitment to responsible alcohol service
- strong communication skills
- mature and reliable work ethic
- enthusiasm for upselling
- willingness to work under a commission-based pay model
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- two years of serving experience required
- SafeServe and alcohol serving certifications required or can be obtained during training
- knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a plus
- display a positive and friendly attitude
- maintain a professional demeanor
- provide top-notch customer service
- educate customers about products and processes
- make recommendations
- adhere to food allergy policies
- handle food safely and hygienically

Job Duties
- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner
- answer customers' questions
- inform and educate customers about the menu and product offerings
- upsell food and beverage items
- take orders and process payments accurately
- learn and know the entire menu thoroughly
- perform side jobs before, during, and after shifts
- work collaboratively as a team member attending to all customers' needs
- serve alcoholic beverages responsibly
