Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to three years food service experience preferred
- Micros POS experience preferred
- must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
- possession of Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handlers certification
- ability to stand and exert mobility for up to four hours
- able to lift up to 45 lbs
- able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs
- good communication skills
- excellent customer service skills
- basic computer knowledge
- ability to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers and kitchens
- ability to comply with Azul Hospitality grooming and attendance standards
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS
- self-driven and able to work independently
- knowledge of table and bar service
- knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and flavor profiles
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a welcoming and friendly manner
- take guest food and beverage orders
- describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation
- suggest menu products to customers
- clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
- verify customer's identification and confirm legal drinking age
- ensure minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages
- perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation
- maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area including disposing of waste and cleaning glassware
- participate in deep cleaning of the outlet
- operate a cash register/POS and process customer payments accurately
- assist all guests professionally and courteously
- perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
