Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of menu and specials
- Knowledge of wine list
- Knowledge of liquor list and special drinks
- Understanding of accounting procedures
- Knowledge of restaurant layout including table and station numbers
- Familiarity with restaurant orientation material including rules and philosophies
- Ability to meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Courteous pleasant and good natured demeanor
- Patience and courtesy when responding to difficult guests
- Acceptance of constructive criticism
- Ability to get along well with co-workers
- Maintain a clean well manicured appearance reflecting restaurant image
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Ability to safely transport food over slick uneven surfaces
- Ability to transport food to serve parties of four in a single trip
- Ability to continually transport food and beverage items throughout a shift
- Ability to safely move about all restaurant areas
- Willingness to work nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in the restaurant and cocktail area
- Effectively service a 6 table station
- Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen both verbally and utilizing the computer register system
- Present and encourage current promotional information and materials to guests
- Accurately account for all guest checks issued
- Accurately record and account for all items ordered and served
- Accurately accept payment from guests
- Notify guests of any automatic gratuity
- Perform calmly under pressure handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Communicate with guests clearly patiently and courteously
- Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of service according to standing operating procedure
