Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of menu and specials
- Knowledge of wine list
- Knowledge of liquor list and special drinks
- Knowledge of accounting procedures
- Familiarity with restaurant layout including table numbers and station numbers
- Understanding of individual restaurant orientation material including rules and philosophies
- Ability to meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Being courteous pleasant and good natured
- Responding to needs of difficult guests with patience and courtesy
- Accepting constructive criticism
- Ability to get along with co-workers
- Providing a clean well manicured persona
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Ability to safely transport food from kitchen to guest table over slick uneven surfaces
- Ability to transport food to service a party of 4 in a single trip
- Ability to transport food and beverage items from source to any guest table continually throughout shift
- Ability to safely move about in all areas of the restaurant
- Availability to work nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in the restaurant and cocktail area
- Handle a 6-table station effectively
- Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts
- Communicate clearly with kitchen both verbally and using computer register system
- Present and encourage current promotional information and materials to guests
- Accurately account for all guest checks issued
- Accurately record and account for all items ordered and served
- Accept payment from guests accurately
- Notify guests of any automatic gratuity
- Perform calmly under pressure handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Communicate with guests clearly patiently and courteously
- Perform varied duties to ensure service according to standing operating procedure
