Job Requirements
- Two years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- knowledge of menu and specials
- knowledge of wine list
- knowledge of liquor list and special drinks
- understanding of accounting procedures
- familiarity with restaurant layout including table and station numbers
- knowledge of individual restaurant rules and philosophies
- punctuality in meeting schedule requirements
- courteous, pleasant and good natured
- patience and courtesy with difficult guests
- acceptance of constructive criticism
- ability to get along with coworkers
- maintaining a clean and well manicured persona
- ability to stand and walk entire shift
- ability to safely transport food over uneven surfaces
- ability to transport food for a party of four in a single trip
- ability to safely move around the restaurant
- willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Must provide a minimum of two years full-service restaurant experience or the equivalent
- knowledge of menu and specials
- knowledge of wine list
- knowledge of liquor list and special drinks
- understanding of accounting procedures
- familiarity with the layout of restaurant including table numbers and station numbers
- knowledge of individual restaurant orientation material including rules and philosophies
- ability to meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- ability to be courteous, pleasant and good natured
- ability to respond to the needs of difficult guests with patience and courtesy
- ability to accept constructive criticism
- ability to get along with co-workers
- ability to provide a clean, well manicured persona that reflects the established image of the restaurant

- able to safely transport food from kitchen to guest table over slick, uneven surfaces

Job Duties
- Effectively service a six table station
- accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts
- communicate clearly with the kitchen both verbally and utilizing the computer register system
- present and encourage current promotional information and materials to guests
- accurately account for all guest checks issued
- accurately record and account for all items ordered and served
- accurately accept payment from guests
- notify guests of any automatic gratuity
- perform calmly under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- communicate with guests clearly, patiently, and courteously
- perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of service according to standing operating procedure
