Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a server in a high-end restaurant setting
- Must have valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service orientation with a genuine interest in hospitality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry moderate weight when serving
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a server preferably in a Michelin-star or Forbes 5-Star restaurant
- Previous experience serving at a restaurant with a tasting menu preferred
- Knowledge of luxury food and beverage standards ensuring high service and presentation levels
- Strong customer service skills with ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs
- Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality
- Possession of a valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training prior to employment
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for providing exceptional service in a refined and professional manner
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly using their names whenever possible and engage in a refined manner
- Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently ensuring personalized and attentive service
- Demonstrate genuine interest in guests' needs by providing expert recommendations and creating memorable dining experiences
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and promotions to enhance the guest experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately inputting them into the point-of-sale system
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverages promptly ensuring quality and presentation standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal addressing concerns promptly and positively
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with all regulations
- Keep the service station well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Clear and clean tables with meticulous attention to detail preparing them for the next guest efficiently
