Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a server in a luxury or fine dining environment
  • Valid Food Handler Card
  • Completion of Alcohol Awareness Training such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays
  • Flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a server preferably in a Michelin-star or Forbes 5-Star restaurant
  • Previous experience serving at a restaurant with a tasting menu is preferred
  • Knowledge of luxury food and beverage standards ensuring the highest level of service and presentation
  • A passion for providing exceptional service with the ability to engage with guests in a refined and professional manner
  • Strong customer service skills including the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs with a genuine sense of interest
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality
  • Must possess a valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training prior to being offered the position
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly using their names whenever possible and engage with them in a manner that reflects the refined standards of the restaurant
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently ensuring a personalized and attentive service experience
  • Demonstrate a genuine sense of interest in guests' needs providing expert recommendations and creating a memorable dining experience
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu daily specials and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information and enhance the guest experience
  • Take food and beverage orders input orders into the point-of-sale system and ensure that all details are accurately captured
  • Retrieve and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner ensuring that each order is presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal addressing any concerns or needs promptly and with a positive attitude
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with all federal state local and company regulations
  • Keep your station well-stocked with necessary supplies to ensure a smooth service
  • Clear and clean tables throughout the meal service ensuring each table is prepared for the next guest with meticulous attention to detail and a seamless transition
