Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to work flexible summer hours including weekends and holidays
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • basic math skills for processing orders
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • must be 18 years or older
  • willingness to adhere to Hyatt’s uniform policy and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • refined verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and warmly with guests and team members
  • strong multi-tasking ability, including managing multiple orders, timelines, and guest requests simultaneously

  • ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
  • previous hospitality or food-and-beverage experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms with professionalism, accuracy, and a warm, welcoming demeanor
  • set up in-room dining presentations according to hotel standards, ensuring all items are properly arranged and complete
  • communicate menu items, specials, and service details clearly and confidently to guests
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of room service areas, trays, carts, and equipment
  • retrieve trays and carts from guest rooms and hallways in a timely manner
  • process guest orders through the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
  • coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any guest concerns
  • uphold all safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards
  • support additional food and beverage operations as needed
