  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in customer service preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere
  • Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions
  • Accurately take and process customer orders using our point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that plates are prepared and garnished according to IHOP standards
  • Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
