- Flexible availability including evenings weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain any required permits or certifications

Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere
- Present menus make recommendations and answer questions about menu items specials and dietary restrictions
- Accurately take and process customer orders using the point-of-sale POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring that plates are prepared and garnished according to IHOP standards
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area including tables chairs and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
- Handle cash and credit card transactions processing payments according to company policies
- Follow all safety sanitation and health regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the food service industry
