Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere
  • present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions
  • accurately take and process customer orders using our point-of-sale (POS) system
  • serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that plates are prepared and garnished according to IHOP standards
  • check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
  • collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
  • handle cash and credit card transactions, processing payments according to company policies
  • follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the food service industry
