Job Duties

  • greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere
  • take orders from guests and answer any questions they may have
  • serve drinks and food promptly and courteously
  • accommodate guests' needs and special requests in a timely manner
  • make suggestions regarding food and drink options
  • clean guest tables and maintain a tidy dining area
  • use a point-of-sale computerized register system to relay orders to the kitchen
  • present the guest check and handle cash or credit card payments with efficiency and accuracy
