Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time
  • must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 pounds
  • ability to bend, twist, and stoop to retrieve items from floor, shelves, and overhead

Job Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a server, waiter, or waitress
  • excellent presentation skills, always demonstrating a professional image
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • active listening and effective communication skills
  • team spirit and a positive attitude
  • flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • high school diploma
  • food safety training will be considered a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner
  • ensure that guests are seated in a timely manner and assist in the seating arrangement to optimize restaurant space
  • present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage
  • exhibit a thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings, menu items and their preparation methods, ingredients, and allergens
  • take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly
  • serve food and drinks to guests, and check on guest satisfaction
  • resolve customer complaints politely and promptly
  • manage multiple tables and tasks in an efficient manner
  • prepare final bill, present it to guests, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change accurately
  • maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment
  • follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
