Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of serving experience in an upscale, full-service or fine dining restaurant
- excellent communication, multitasking, and guest service skills
- professional, polished appearance and demeanor
- strong food, wine, and cocktail knowledge preferred
- must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining grace under pressure
- availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must possess a valid California Food Handler's Card
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional, professional service to guests, anticipating their needs throughout their dining experience
- possess a thorough knowledge of food, beverage, and wine menus to make thoughtful recommendations
- accurately take guest orders and input them into the POS system
- serve all items according to presentation and timing standards
- collaborate with hosts, bartenders, runners, and management to ensure smooth service
- handle guest concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring satisfaction
- maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned stations
- follow all company and health department sanitation and safety procedures
- assist teammates during high-volume periods as needed
