Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Proven work experience as a server, waiter, or waitress
  • Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stoop to retrieve items from floor, shelves, and overhead
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings

Job Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a server, waiter, or waitress
  • Excellent presentation skills, always demonstrating a professional image
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Active listening and effective communication skills
  • Team spirit and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • High school diploma
  • Food safety training will be considered a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner
  • Ensure that guests are seated in a timely manner and assist in the seating arrangement to optimize restaurant space
  • Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage
  • Exhibit a thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings, menu items and their preparation methods, ingredients, and allergens
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly
  • Serve food and drinks to guests, and check on guest satisfaction
  • Resolve customer complaints politely and promptly
  • Manage multiple tables and tasks in an efficient manner
  • Prepare final bill, present it to guests, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
